Before we continue with setting up your email on your smartphone, make sure to email the IT Support Team at itsupport@ohtn.on.ca so that we can enable ActiveSync which enables your email account to be accessible via smartphones. 


Also make sure you have the Outlook app downloaded. If you do not have the app, here are the links to get the app from app store:

Once you have installed the app, follow the instruction mentioned below: 


Once you have installed the app, you can add your OHTN account by clicking getting started"



If you already are using outlook and you want to add your OHTN account to it, you can click "settings" icon on top right and add another account to your Outlook app




Once you are ready to add another account, the app will ask for your email address, please enter that 



In some cases, the app might take a long time to find your email account settings, in that case click "Setup account manually" 



Tap on "exchange" icon on the next screen




Tap show advanced settings so that you can enter server details into the app




These are all the info you need to enter: 


Email address: your email address

Server: exchange.ohtn.on.ca 

Username: your OHTN username (without the @ohtn.on.ca)

Password: your OHTN login password

Description: OHTN (so that you know which account this is)




Once all the information is entered, tap the checkbox on the top right corner of the screen



If the information entered is all correct, your OHTN will be added to your Outlook app.
